Rarely is it possible to walk into a living masterpiece. At Passford House Hotel, however, our guests are free to do just that.
Monet may not have had the Passford garden in mind when he spoke of his ‘most beautiful masterpiece’ but even he would have been impressed strolling down the path towards the hotel’s very own Monet meadow.
Beyond the herbaceous borders and stunning rose arbors, the parkland has been transformed into a work of art – complete with water lilies, a weeping willow and a delightful bridge. All that’s missing, it seems, is the painter himself.
The great outdoors
Passford’s not-so-English country garden is the perfect place to pass the time.
Those after a secluded bench between meetings, a leisurely evening walk, a quick round of pitch and putt or a game of croquet, need look no further than the hotel’s nine acres. The great outdoors is certainly on the doorstep.
