Need to know

As a guest in our home we won’t ask you to remove your hat, or leave your shoes at the door. There are a few things, however, you might like to know to help you make the most of your time with us…

Coming to stay

Your room will be available from 3pm. Should you wish to arrive early to explore, take tea in the lounge or use any of the hotel facilities you are welcome to do so. Our staff will be on hand to help you store your luggage safely.

Special requests

If there is something we can do to make your stay even more special, we want to know about it. Whether it’s helping you keep to your diet, arranging a picnic or waking you up with the morning paper, the General Manager, and his team will do their best to make it happen.

What to wear

Your comfort is our top priority. That’s why we think you should be able to wear the clothes that make you feel most at home. The only thing we ask is that you do not wear shorts or baseball caps at dinner.

Home from home

Here at Passford, we understand the need to be practical. With ironing and shoe-cleaning facilities, internet and postal services and even an early morning wake-up call, all you need to worry about is getting a good night’s sleep.

Man’s best friend

We don’t like the thought of your dog in a kennel any more than you do, so if we can accommodate your pet without disturbing any of the other guests we will (charges apply).

Staying out late

The surrounding area is so beautiful and intriguing that we don’t want to tear you away from it. Just let us know if you’re going to be back late and our friendly night porter will make sure he’s around to let you in – and prepare you a nightcap!

Time to leave

We never like saying goodbye to our guests but to help us keep everything in order we do ask that you vacate your room by 11am on the morning of departure. Please contact reception if you wish to stay in your room a little longer – although a charge may be made for this service.
